Meet Our Eye Doctors in Schomberg, Ontario
Dr. Sgro is the proud owner and optometrist of Schomberg Eye Care. Dr. Sgro received a Doctorate of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo. Upon graduation, she completed a 1 year specialized residency in low vision rehabilitation and geriatric eye care at the University of Waterloo. During her residency she worked closely with patients with eye disease including macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, stroke and many rare visual impairments. She also completed onsite eye exams at nursing and retirement homes. She received her Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry in 2019 and is a proud member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Sgro also works as a full scope Optometrist in Barrie, Ontario and has great experience working with patients of all ages from 6 months and up. Dr. Sgro looks forward to meeting the residents of Schomberg and surrounding area.
Dr. Annie Ha earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She developed strong clinical skills during her training, including valuable experience working alongside a retinal ophthalmologist in the management of ocular disease.
Her passion for optometry comes from her own personal journey with her eyes, which has given her a deep appreciation for the importance of vision care. Known for her kind and compassionate nature, she is dedicated to helping patients protect and improve their vision. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships and providing excellent care to the community.
